Rony is an Israeli-born American. He grew up in Tel Aviv, across the street from the beach.
He arrived in New York with his family as a teen, obtaining an Associate degree from New York City Community College after graduating from High School, later receiving an Accounting degree from Queens College after four years of night school. Rony served in the US Army during the Vietnam War, and earned a Master’s in Business Administration from LIU. Licensed as a CPA, Rony concentrated in tax and financial Consulting.
Rony always loved to write poetry and essays. It led him to initiate, write and edit a client newsletter for over twenty years. Some forty years ago Rony joined Rotary International, a service and charity organization, where he also started, wrote and edited a newsletter until 2019. Rony is still very active with Rotary, raising money for many causes and organizations.
Rony and his wife Ana live on Long Island in New York, they have six children and twelve grandchildren and love to spend time with them.
