Michael Vecchione is the former Chief of the Homocide Bureau, Chief of Trials, and Chief of the Rackets Division in the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office, topping off a legal career of over 40 years, 30 of those as a prosecutor. In 2007 he was awarded the Thomas E. Dewey Medal as prosecutor of the year. He has co-authored four non-fiction, true crime books. Fallen Angel is his first solo project and is a work of fiction based on true events from his career as a prosecutor. He is a frequent contributor to true crime television productions and podcasts.
