This story is a compilation of my experiences as a grant writer. It will help the reader understand the process of proposal writing, as well as how to obtain grants. You will not find writing samples, but I assure you excellent samples can be found on the internet. You will get what I call “Food for Thought.” You will gain information you may have never heard and probably will never hear again in one book. The hope is that you will get a basic understanding of how to be a successful grant writer. This book includes “Jewels.” Jewels are not the dos and don’ts. However, they are “Tips,” pointers that will touch the right side of your brain, bringing creativity and focus to make you successful. After reading the following pages, you will be more enthusiastic and motivated to write a compelling grant proposal that will get you the money!
