"The Mists of the Past" by Angela D'Alia - available Fall, 2026

France, 1853. Axel de La Croix, Count of Roche de la Vaillance, crosses paths on a dark night with Michelle. Who is this mysterious young woman with long red hair, stripped of her memories, both unknown and strangely familiar? The mists of the past will shake the present of the two protagonists. Will love manage to overcome the difficulties, or will the past mark the end of a young love? Passion and jealousy, anger and tenderness, in an adventure to bring a shadowy past to light.

Angela D’Alia teaches and lives among the hills of the province of Enna. She describes herself as someone with her head in the clouds and her feet planted firmly on the ground, and with this philosophy she tries to balance working life with her need to write. She has painted murals, decorated benches, and created set designs for a local community association. Whenever she can, she retreats into the quiet of the countryside, where she writes or devotes herself to restyling old furniture.
